『Three faces and portraits』
視覚的情報だけを頼りに撮っているんじゃないことがわかってからは、撮影した写真を単独で見せるより、何かに使うみたいな感覚が芽生えました。
割とアブストラクトな感じになってきて、ディテイルや質感、もっと漠然とした雰囲気とか気分といっては曖昧だけど、空気を感じて撮っています。
空気感、気配など観念や感情の向こう側の曖昧なニュアンスが残るように四角、三角、丸っこい、、、フレームをイメージしてワンカット、ワンカットって感じで、目の前のフィルム、印画紙、私家版を破って、さらに増殖していくように混ぜて貼ります。
写真の粒子の物質を構成する粗い粒、粉、埃も浮かべ写真の断片を定着、表現しています。
Three Faces and Portraits
After realizing that I wasn't relying solely on visual information when taking photos, I started to feel like I wanted to use the photos for something rather than just displaying them individually.
My work has become more abstract; I'm capturing details, textures, and more vague feelings and moods—it's ambiguous to call it that—by feeling the atmosphere.
To preserve the ambiguous nuances beyond concepts and emotions, such as the sense of atmosphere and presence, I imagine frames—squares, triangles, rounds, etc.—and take one shot at a time, tearing up the film, photographic paper, and private prints in front of me, mixing and pasting them as if they were multiplying.
I also incorporate the coarse grains, powders, and dust that make up the material of the photograph, fixing and expressing fragments of the image.

RECORD SLEEVE
『レコードカバーのようなもの』
現実とフィクションどっちでもない、割と具体的っぽく見えるけど、抽象的な要素の混ざったバランスがずっと好きです。
写真で表現したい形が定まらない時、棚と段ボールのなかのレコードをかけ、自分のなかの何かと一瞬でも交差したら、ひたすら反復していく作業に没入していけます。
結局単純に写真が撮りたい、破って重ねて貼りたい、何か理解できないものをつくりたい、という欲求は無意識をどうやって表現するかに繋がっています。
偶々できてしまった時の驚き、イメージと相反する謎の行為、ほんとその場その場のインプロビゼーションです。現実とフィクションを混ぜて、それ以外の余分なものも結構入ってきたり、ひとつの答えに向かっていかないように一寸工夫が必要です。
